DIT : Do It Together

La Belle Ouvrage can help you develop your team’s ability to get organised and coordinated, to work together, and to facilitate the common focus of professionals with diverse and complementary special skills towards the organisation’s project.
In that objective, we work closely with the managing team or/and we organise workshops based on a participative approach involving your whole team to facilitate the implementation of solutions designed and led by these people.
The workshops are built in agreement between you and us, before and during the process, leaving space for revelations that can emerge from the work and enabling the adaptability required for these situations.
We work together with companies, venues, festivals, production offices, adopting our proposals for very small (2 people) up to bigger teams.

Below are a few examples of a situation where our support may be used

demi-lune-bleu Assessing, evaluating, establishing a diagnostic for change : Our work often starts with a general assessment, a shared view of the situation developed by the whole team, in order to work out the various possible angles, allow for differences, and set up a plan based on which we can organise the team

demi-lune-bleu  Reconsidering the organisation’s project and what a team is working towards: highlighting representations of the current situation, determining expectations, to identifying gaps, redefining goals and directions, stating and reclaiming the core ideals of your organisation.

demi-lune-bleu Defining a strategy and raising awareness : subsequent development of your organisation may mean restructuring a team and how it is positioned with regards to the outside world.

demi-lune-bleu Developping your team management : we offer a customised approach to solving management issues: know how to identify the skills and people needed to start a project, write up job descriptions, recruit new associates, hone your skills as a team manager, develop new management tools (time management, internal communications, meetings, budgeting, etc.), and conduct yearly appraisals.

demi-lune-bleu Choosing the most suitable economic and legal framework : when an organisation experiences growth or faces economic difficulties, its management may decide to rethink its economic or legal framework.

demi-lune-bleu   Recruiting a new collaborator: Helping with the definition of work profile, according to the context, the project of the organisation and the structure of its team; developing the recruitement process; analysing applications with you, developing relevant interview forms and participating in interviews with management staff.

demi-lune-bleu  Rethinking the structure of a team according to the organisation’s project and/or its evolution; identifying the needs and skills required, taking into account the context, developing action plans to overcome potential difficulties facilitating the required changes.

demi-lune-bleu  Conflict resolution : express your opinion face-to-face in order to solve the situation and move forward. We see conflict as a dynamic aspect of working together, and the chance to express and exchange points of view and create better partnerships. We are sometimes called upon to try to resolve a conflict within an organisation. Conflicts sometimes emerge during the duration of our work with the organisation. This needs to be acknowledged and tackled in a specific manner.

demi-lune-bleu  Facilitating your decision to work in a collective form of organisation: you are currently working, or wish to work, in a collaborative environment. In this aim, we can work with you to explore the diversity of interpretations and relationships this entails. We can also help you discover the different terms used in this objective, such as collective, participative, collaborative, cooperative, pooling, grouping, etc. to better position your project. Finally, we may examine together a few useful concepts such as equality, fairness, hierarchy, self-dependency, responsibility, the vertical and the horizontal, decision-making, contributing, ownership, co-building, etc. This will allow you not only to better understand the complexity of groups’ inner workings, but also to enjoy being in one!
