Typhaine Aussant

Deputy coordinator

I have been working as a deputy coordinator for La Belle Ouvrage since September 2014. My main responsibilities are setting up one-on-one support and skills assessments, the logistics of collective training and communications. I work closely with Carole Tourde, head of coordination, as well as with the three co-directors and consultants.

During my five years studying politics at the Institut d’Etudes Politiques in Rennes, I gradually specialised in the cultural sector and more specifically in the performing arts. My career began as administrator for Jérôme Deschamps and Macha Makeïeff’s company. Having discovered the joys and challenges of the theatre, I developed a passion for this environment, where administration is an essential support to the success of a project.

Eager to diversify my experiences, I then joined the team of the open air Festival Dépayz’arts in Seine-et-Marne, which showcases its wares during the Christmas period in usually prohibited venues. As part of my work for production office Made In Productions, I met the team of Collectif Les Possédés, who I decided to join once the Festival was finished.

For two years, I worked with them as head of administration and production. At the heart of the creative process and in direct contact with the actors, I contributed to many of their productions.

At the end of this chapter, I joined the team of La Belle Ouvrage at a time in my life when I wanted to continue my journey in the cultural sector while developing new skills, two wishes that my role at La Belle Ouvrage allows me to fulfil.

At every step, I want to support projects in which human relations are essential. I particularly enjoy it when mutual learning and sharing opinions come with a touch of humour and joy.
